Jóhann Jóhannsson was one of our dearest friends and finding words to articulate how we feel about this release today comes with no ease. When Jóhann asked us to rework a composition from ‘Englabörn’, we were delighted as it felt like such a beautiful way to return to the beginning of our relationship and add something new to his incredible legacy. Not knowing and understanding the impact it would have now; it feels special; like a closing circle. The music that survives him will be preserved in a state of suspended youth to consume like cultural relief packages. We will be forever grateful that our paths crossed in this lifetime and we profoundly miss him.

We were very happy to return to our humble beginnings and create this new piece: 'Long May It Sustain'. It will be released on Erased Tapes' 10th-anniversary compilation: 1+1=X, on April 21st as part of Record Store Day UK. We hope you enjoy...

Scott Frederick Beatty you beat me to it!!!
I love it. It's almost like a hidden track from the first album and it brings back wonderful memories of the times I have seen WVFTS live. Thank you and I hope we will hear more new music in the future..
Where can I find the music used in God's Own Country ? In particular, the song at the end of the film. Thanks
Great movie and your amazing song! Love it!
